It’s late and I should be in bed so I’m going to make this a quick one.
Nothing finished but I did some work on the cross stitch. I am working on some other things that are budget related (as in making a budget planner from a half letter notebook) but that’s more in the look up possible tutorials stage rather than an “I’m going to actually put this thing together” stage. I want to have it done for the new year though so I can start the new planner with the new year.
I’ve been kind of obsessed with budgeting this year probably because it’s one place I have some control of stuff in a year where I don’t have a lot of choices and many choices are being made for me. I don’t do stickers or anything but I like seeing things on my spreadsheet and I transpose them to paper. (I suppose I could make stickers by getting sticker paper and printing them then cutting them out but I don’t know if I’m really there yet. A set of multi-colored highlighters would be cheaper to pull off frankly) Anyway, I was wondering if this would be something people wanted to talk about on the regular. I know that some people seem to be under the impression that Black people are for some reason just stupid with money and that’s why we are lagging behind in wealth (with no regard to how white supremacy plays a role, last hired first fired, tendency to be in low-paying jobs on average, being paid less with college degrees than white high school dropouts etc plays a role in racial wealth disparities) I don’t want to sound like some rando YouTuber talking about budgeting and whatnot but I feel like it’s a topic that’s worthy of discussion. Anyway, let me know maybe I’ll consider some posts on the topic in between craft posts.
Anyway, this was more about non-crafting things than crafting so I’ll leave it here. What’s on your craft table?
