Infamous spray tan enthusiast Rachel Dolezal has finally made friends with reality. Lol, not really. In an interview with talk show The Real, BiRachel did say she had white parents but stopped short of the logical conclusion.
“I acknowledge I was biologically born white to white parents,” she said and probably should have stopped but continued, “and I identify as black.”
When she went on to say “why not give me the right to identify how I identify”, as well as question whether there was a unique experience of blackness at all, I could go on comfortably knowing she’s still the craziest cracker this side of Trump.
Singer and actress Tamar Braxton schooled her, not that anything can get through to her.
“There are opportunities that I might not get that you can have only because of the colour of my skin, not because I’m a smart, beautiful, amazing mother, wife and entrepreneur,” Braxton explained. “There are lots of doors that I can’t walk into that you can definitely walk into.”
Dolezal’s gonna Dolezal regardless.
