On Masterchef UK, Zaleha Kadir Olpin, a Malaysian born chef, cooked Chicken Redang, with Nasi Lemak for the challenge. She was eliminated, because the dish wasn’t “Crispy” enough. Newsflash. Chicken Rendang isn’t supposed to be crispy. It’s actually supposed to be tender.
This made Malaysians upset enough, that ministers, politicians, and even the Prime Minister got involved.
Things continued to escalate further when one of the judges tweeted this:
This tweet enraged people further, which got more people from Indonesia, Singapore, and even Brunei involved.
